In a medium pan add the condensed soup, milk and green chiles and heat on low until hot, stirring occasionally but do not let this boil as it will overflow. Put the swiss cheese on one piece of the bread. Then add the pastrami. Then drain the kraut, I like to warm it up a bit in a skillet and like half fry it before putting on the sandwich. Next add the kraut then the other piece of bread. Put some marg. in a skillet and let melt. Put the sandwich in the butter on medium so it will not scorch. Let get brown then flip over and do the other side. Can also be done on a paini machine. Dip in thousand island dressing or can dip in a thin sour cream or ranch dressing.

3 Envelopes Unsweetened StrawberryKoolaid

1 Liter Ginger Ale, chilled
1 Quart Raspberry or Orange Sherbet in a large pitcher prepare the Koolaide aide with the sugar and water according to package directions. stir in orange juice concentrate. just before serving, add ginger ale. serve in chilled tall glasses. add a scoop of sherbet to each of the glasses.

Place roast in bottom of slow cooker. Peel and cut up carrots and potatoes, place on top of Roast. Pour gravy over all and cover. Cook on low 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Try not to open the lid because it takes about twenty minutes to recover the heat if you do! Note: It doesn’t matter how many potatoes or carrots you use, long as it all fits in your crock pot. If you have a big roast  and a lot of Veggies. Then use 2 jars of gravy.

Spray a 9 x 12 pan. Wash Tenderloin, pat dry. Lay the tenderloin in the pan and put a strip of bacon on each piece. Put in the oven on 350. When the bacon starts to fry put the apple juice, brown sugar mixture on it and bake until done. Mix the brown sugar and apple juice together until you get a thick like mixture it may take more apple juice then called for and stir it up good then pour over the tenderloins or put some on each piece. Doneness will vary with every how thick the tenderloin pieces are.

3 Or More, CARROTS, Sliced

In a kettle with water over top chicken breasts cook until done. Take out of water and save broth. Set aside. Pull the chicken apart into pieces. Cut cabbage in small pieces like for stir fry Slice the carrots.Add the carrots and cabbage to the chicken broth. Add the stick of butter When almost done add the chicken back in, stir and let finish cooking. Add salt and pepper. Stir again. I like to add a can of chicken broth to this or some chicken bouillon for a little more flavor but watch when you add the salt. Eat with town house crackers or regular crackers.

My son gave me this recipe which he got in one of the countries in the Cribin.

2 Lbs. White Sea Bass or Tilapia Fish
1/2 Stick Butter or Blue Bonnet Marg.
3 Tablespoons Minced Garlic, fresh or in the jar
1 Cup or more of Whie Wine or White Cooking Wine
1 Pack Soft Flour Tortillas
Marinade the fish over night in the ref. in the cooking wine. May take more than a cup to do this. Cut fish up in bite size pieces or in half ever how you want to eat it. Put the butter in a skillet, may take less than half a stick. Add the minced garlic and let cook for a few minutes but do not let the garlic get scorched. Next add the fish and let cook on each side around three minutes or more per side. Can cook these in halfs and then cut into pieces to fit the taco. When the fish is done take out of skillet and add some more butter and garlic and let cook for a few minutes. When making the fish taco add the last garlic and butter to them as a sauce. This makes the fish buttery. Just drizzle the mixture over top of the fish taco. You can add what ever topping you like to these like lettuce and tomato, etc. You can warm the tortillas uo in the microwave to get them warm. You can also serve this with guacamole. You can use any type of white fish with these. These are very good.

The up coming West 80 Yard Sale that goes from Somerset, Ky. Up thru London and on into Manchester, Ky. is beginning on Aug. 29 thru Sept. 2 this  year for 2013. If you live close then start on Friday. We always go on Sat. But get there around seven as there are so many people at this sale. They always have good children and baby clothes a lot of them new. Some of the churches set up and sell hot dogs, chips and pops. Make sure to take cold drinks as it gets so hot. Also use the bathroom b enforce you begin because a lot of the area do not have any stores with bathrooms. There is a Dollar General about half way where you can go to the bathroom and buy cold drinks and snacks. Also visit the Amish market on the right side of the road heading toward Manchester. They have fresh Vegas. And al kinds of soup mixes, dip mixes, jellys, cheese, meats, We love the pimento cheese. It is a deli cheese and they have fresh brown eggs also. It is in a beige tin building and called Willow Market. They have a sign beside the road. Not trying to promote it but it is so clean and they also have bathrooms. Try some of the veg, soup or chili mix. We love it. Be careful driving and wear your seatbelt as there is so much traffic.

The bacon pieces are found at Walmart in a white bag down past the dressings. They are the Great Value brand and are very good in this. But if you have any left over make sure you store the bacon pieces in the ref. as they will mold if left out and not ref.

While going to the London yard sales that they have every Labor Day weekend we went to a area church who was selling hot dogs along with their yard sale items. Let me tell you this was some good hot dogs so the lady very kindly gave us her chili recipe. This really surprised me as most people do not like to give out their recipes. Me, I am glad to give anyone a recipe that I have as that is just part of being kind to people and part of being southern. So here is her recipe for the chili. If you do not like your chili sweet you can cut back on the sugar or leave it out. Me, I like the sweet taste of it as it is very good hot dog chili.

Boil the onion in water until transparent and then drain. Set aside. In a large kettle put the ground chuck or ground beef in water and boil until it is done and then drain this. Mash the meat with a potato masher or a hamburger masher from Pampered Chef. Put the beef and onion back into the kettle and then add the 1 can of tomato paste and the 1/2 can of water and let this simmer for 15 minutes.Next add the 2 tablespoons of chili powder. and the 1/4 cup of sugar along with the (32oz.)bottle of ketchup. Stir good and let simmer for 30 minutes. Best if this is made in a crockpot.

My son had bought my daughter a sewing machine for Christmas around two years ago and with her moving she had put it up. So he ask if she had used it yet. No, she told him. So he told her to bring it over with her when she came to visit him.
As he is a quilter he was going to show her how to thread up her machine. Of course now days most everything comes with a dvd to show you how to operate what you buy.
Since she had never opened the box she did not even know it was in there.
So they put in on and he was showing her how to thread it along with the dvd.
They got some material out for her to practice on. She came to the end of the material and he told her to lift up the foot so she could get the material out from under the plate.
She told him she had her foot lifted and he said no you don't so this went on for a few minutes as he was sitting beside her and could see the presser foot was not lifted.
What was she doing, lol, lifting her foot up off of the paddle that lets it run. We all looked down and there she was had her foot up in the air. Talking about laughing we did. That was a good one.
So if you are sewing and don't know what a foot it it is the part where the needle goes down into the plate and you let the back handle down to hold the material in place. Just don't lift up your big foot off of the paddle lol.......

We all love Dr.Oz. There is just so much you can learn from him. Even the little ones love him.
My grandaughter came running to her mom the other day and said mom I am not feeling good. So she ask what was hurting her and she said I am hurting here. So she pointed to where her breast is supposed to be.
My daughter said are you hurting bad and she said yes. So she lifts up her shirt and could not see nothing wrong with her.
I think I need to go to ER. Why, because I think I have got breast cancer. Breast cancer, how can you have breast cancer when you don't even have any breast yet. I was watching Dr. Oz and I think I have got breast cancer like he was talking about.
So she kept telling her she was all right and she then went outside and started playing.
How many times do we watch a medical program and think we have got just what they are talking about, if you are like me almost every time. lol.

If you like to shop at T.J. Max like I do you are going there ever chance you can get. lol. I am not trying to promote these shopping bags but I love to buy these to keep in the car to put my grocery's in instead of having to carry so many bags up the steps.
With having a garden they are so good to put all your beans in or cucumbers you have picked.
I have a load from my jungle that I have created. They will even hold 4 dozen ears of corn and will not rip. This is so much better than the plastic Kroger or Walmart bags we always collect. They come in all kinds of colors and you can find them up front at the checkouts. So for .99 grab you some the next time you are there.
You can even use them for shower gifts or for birthday gifts. They are good also to hold toys or clothes.

I know it is to late now to plant tomatoes but I learned something this year about planting them.
One of our friends was telling me about how he ask a friend how he raised such big tomatoes. Now me. I put everything on mine trying to get them to grow. So this friend took him and showed him his tomato patch.
He had planted his tomatoes in his corn. Why, because the corn will shade the tomatoes and they will not get the blossom end rot. Mine done this last year. There the tomato was almost ripe and then it stared rotting on the bottom. This year I am going to put some crushed Tums in some water and pour around them.
I was looking at another friends garden and they had their tomatoes planted with two rows of corn on each side of them not in with the corn but out in a row and had cucumbers planted on one side along with the tomatoes. They had planted the German Queen Tomatoes and boy were they big.
I went to the flea market Sat. and they had them there for 1.50 a lb. Now one of those tomatoes will weight at leat 2 lbs. and I wanted one so bad but that was just to much so I just bought me a basket of yellow tomatoes. But have you ever wanted something so bad you can taste it in your mouth.
There is nothing better then a big thick slice of German Queen tomato with salt on it and mayo and bread and make a tomato sandwich. I love mine with Durkee mayo. The dollar tree has a small jar there for a dollar if your family is like mine and just will only use Mircle Whip. lol.
